In the frame of the “2025 PEPR Electronique National Workshop”, Thales, CEA-LETI and SOITEC presented the results of the H2020-ELENA project. This was the opportunity to discuss on the substrate supply chain and RF performances.
Mastering the electronics value chain has become a major and strategic issue for both the economy and society. Leaded by the French Centre National for Research and Science (CNRS) and the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA)”, the French government set up a Priority Research Programs and Equipment on Electronics (PEPR) which aims to generate innovations to accelerate growth and relocate certain productions in France or Europe through new technological solutions in a way that is sustainable both economically and ecologically. In the frame of this PEPR, NanoFiLN aims at establish a French expertise for cutting-edge next-generation integrated optical components based on the use of thin films of LiNbO3.
