The ELENA consortium partners had their fourth Steering Committee meeting, including technical working sessions in Grenoble, France, at CEA-Leti premises in the mountain region of Isère French Alpes.
Two days meeting was an excellent opportunity to engage in collaborative discussions on the project’s progress, addressed challenges, and strategically outlined the roadmap for the upcoming phase. Excitingly, ELENA’s thin-film lithium niobate on insulator platform has reached a pivotal stage, prompting a dedicated focus on prototyping in the imminent period. The evolution of the next-generation PDK and its enhanced capabilities will significantly contribute to the circuit simulation of ELENA’s groundbreaking demonstrators, as well as exploring the innovative concepts behind them, showcasing the transformative potential of ELENA technology.
The meeting concluded with an immersive tour of the CEA-Leti cleanroom combined with a visit of the CEA Showroom at Y Spot.
A special expression of gratitude to CEA-Leti for hosting the meeting and a social activity that added a delightful dimension to the event.
