For the first time, ELENA’s LNOI building blocks were featured in VPI’s Design and Simulation Training for Photonic Integrated Circuits at CLEO2023.
VPI’s role as a partner in the ELENA consortium is to successively integrate building blocks of the world’s first lithium-niobate-on-insulator (LNOI) PIC process design kit (PDK) into its photonics design suite. The training at #CLEO2023 was a great opportunity for the attendees to discover ELENA’s LNOI platform and PDK, and to address their questions to ELENA researcher Andrzej Polatynski.
